Softball

When I was a little girl I always wanted to play Softball. I started playing when I was around 9 years old. My dad was the assistant coach and I played right field. I do not remember much of my Softball days, but I do remember the training. My dad and I would wake up every morning at 5am to go for a 2 mile jog. He left for work really early in the morning and we had to do it before he went to work.

As I got older I played Softball in High school. I was never really good at Softball but I loved to play it. Again I remember being in right field. I did get to play short stop a couple times but only as a back up player. My favorite part of being on the Softball team was all of the trips we got to take together. When ever we had an away game we would all pack up in the bus and we were off! When we played Hood River that was always the longest ride. It would take us up to an hour to get there!

Now it has been years since I graduated High School and the only softball that is in my life has turned to Baseball. I love to watch Baseball, and it is pretty close to softball, except for the ball is a lot smaller in Baseball and the rules are a little different.
